THE GREEN CONCEPT
The design and fit out of the homes are mindful of being energy efficient, all of the units North-South oriented to maximise the use of natural lighting and cross ventilation for optimised wind flow.
The development also features materials and fittings chosen with care and sustainability in mind. The concept of green living is evident in every aspect of the building, from the design down to the materials and finishes selected. A long narrow floor plan with opening windows in opposite walls coupled with special-order Australian adjustable glass louvered windows create cross ventilation that naturally cools the habitable spaces. Homes were also constructed using our own proprietary design, "breathable roofs", to better allow heat to escape via the roof attic. Low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and heat-reflective paint are used in all homes.
